mportant safety information.
When used responsibly, Jasper lasers are completely safe. Jasper is a Class IIIa laser, which means it does not have enough power to burn. The dominant caution regards eyesight. Jasper's beam is extremely bright and can easily disorient an unsuspecting bystander. Also, Jasper should never be shined into anyone's eyes.
If you follow these simple rules, you'll have many safe and enjoyable hours with your Jasper laser.
1. Don't allow children to use Jasper without close adult supervision.
2. Don't shine Jasper into:
- passing cars, airplanes or other vehicles
- windows of houses
- around the eyes of any person or animal
- mirrors or other highly reflective surfaces — the beam might bounce into someone's area of vision
- any optical instrument that might focus Jasper's energy into someone's eyes
Notice: Shining any laser into a moving aircraft or other vehicle is a Federal Crime and very dangerous. Penalties can include jail sentences of up to 25 years.
